How much does a screen repair cost?
There are lots of considerations for the cost. How much screen, what type, do you need more stuff repaired like the framing or hardware? Since there are so many factors, we need to chat to get a better idea of what you need.
The good thing is that we can do this over the phone, especially if you can take a few pictures to text to us. Just give Quillco a call and we’ll get to work.
There is a $150 base cost, though. Even if you just need 1 small screen repaired.
How many repairs has Quillco done?
There have been so many screen repairs we’ve done, numbering in the thousands, that we couldn’t put a definite number her. However, it is telling that so many other screen repair companies come to us for advice and technical know how when they need help.
Can I talk with the owner?
Yes! When you call us, almost all of the time you will talk to John Quillen. On rare occasions he might be unavailable, but you will speak with the office manager. If you need to speak with an owner, John will always take or return your call. That’s part of the good service we offer.
What areas do you repair screen enclosures?
We work all over the Jacksonville area. We have two primary locations. An office in Middleburg for screen enclosure repair and a warehouse in Jacksonville to keep our screen stuff. Here are a few towns, neighborhoods and suburbs we work in:
Fleming Island, Orange Park, Middleburg, Asbury Lake, Lakeside, Green Cove Springs and Hibernia. We also replace screens on the other side of the river in Fruit Cove, St. Johns, Mandarin, Rivertown, Samson and Nocatee and, occasionally St. Augustine.
Of course, we replace screens all over Jacksonville, FL, too. Including neighborhoods like Jacksonville Heights, Whitehouse, Chimney Lakes, East Arlington, Southpoint and Pickwick Park. But, really, we go all over the city and counties we’ve discussed.
How long is the warranty you offer on repairs, replacement and new builds?
We offer a 5-year warranty on new build projects for pool cages, sunrooms and lanai porches. We give you a 5-year warranty on rescreen and repair projects using fiberglass, a 10-year warranty on rescreening projects with polyester screens, and a 1 year warranty on door kits and locks and other things we repair and replace.
Do you paint pool screen enclosures, too?
We do! read about our screen enclosure painting here. We use a special paint designed for industrial and marine applications. It has a very high durability and really sticks to surfaces, including smoother metals like you see on cages. This is especially great for surfaces that undergo significant wear and tear or are exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
